A Life Not Lived: The MovieBook

During July 2023, BTWN The Lines worked on the production of the first ever MovieBook, entitled A Life Not Lived: The MovieBook (written by author Michael Peter and directed by esteemed British actor Terence Maynard) - a novel centered around 30-year old Rakim Morrison, detailing his life upon release from prison after serving 12 years for manslaughter.

This tale touches upon many trials and tribulations one must often face to overcome the afflictions of life, exploring themes such as love, friendship, self-forgiveness, trust, betrayal, success, parenthood and purpose.

Incorporated with elements of crime and violence free from glorification, exaggeration, judgement or sugarcoating, A Life Not Lived is sure to be hit amongst those who not only love a heart-touching, entertaining book, but also those whom appreciate talented actors and captivating performances.

Filmed across 5 days and10 locations, the production of A Life Not Lived: The MovieBook successfully hired a total of 11 actors, 12 crew members, and 9 editors, bestowing valuable on-set experience while securing paid employment for all involved.
